Maple Bridal Studio

Some mornings look like the rest of your life.

Banff in September. You. Us. A story told in light.

Found in Light, Not Staged

I didn't set out to be a wedding photographer. I set out to capture what Canada looks like when it's alive — the way Banff light falls sideways through morning fog, the way a maple canopy in October turns the world amber and still. The couples who found me understood, without explanation, that their story belonged in that light.

Every session I photograph begins with a walk. No posing, no direction — just you, your person, and a landscape that has been quietly waiting to be part of something. I follow the light. I follow the feeling. The images that come back are never the ones anyone planned.

That is the belief Maple Bridal Studio is built on: that the most timeless images are the ones found, not arranged. Your story, in light — held exactly as it felt on the day.

Three ways to hold your story — each one crafted around the light, the landscape, and the moments that are yours alone.

Couples Say

They didn't just photograph our wedding — they held space for every quiet moment between us. We still cry looking at these images.

Emma & Liam Banff, AB

The Rocky Mountain light at dusk, the fog on the lake — it's all there, and so are we. Timeless. Ours.

Sophie & James Lake Louise, AB

We handed them our story and they gave it back in light. Every frame feels like the rest of our lives beginning.
